Jar
Candle Care, Safety & Burning Instructions:
|
- Glass
containers are fragile. Handle with care. Don't use jars that
are cracked or chipped.
- Burn
each candle so the melt pool reaches all the way across the jar.
The time it takes to achieve this full melt pool depends on the
size of you jar. Generally, it is about 1 hour per inch of diameter.
You will find this gives you a great burning candle.
- Although
we use self-trimming wicks, you may want to be sure that the wicks
are trimmed to approximately 1/4".
- Although
the wick should automatically extinguish as the wax level reaches
approximately 1/2", discontinue use at this level. (TIP:
break remaining wax up in 1" pieces to melt in a tart burner
for additional fragrancing).
- Candles
will discolor or fade when they are exposed to intense light for
extended periods of time. Avoid displaying candles in sunlight,
florescent lighting or other strong illuminated areas.
- To
recycle jar for other household uses: Once the wax has been melted
and the jar has been emptied, quickly wipe with paper towel to
remove any soy wax residue. Wash jar with soap and water, rinse.

Wickless
Candle Care, Safety & Heating Instructions:
|
- Before
placing candle on warming unit, remove all packaging (bows, ribbons,
hang tags) and remove the lid.
- When
using standard, wicked candles, remove the paper warning label
from the bottom of the container.
- Use
on an approved electric candle warmer.
- Keep
warming unit out of reach of children and pets.
- Although
this candle has no flame, the warming unit is an electrical appliance.
Never leave it on when you are not around to watch it.
- When
fragrance is no longer apparent, heat candle on warming unit and
safely pour hot soy wax into disposable container. Empty tin cans
work nicely. Do not pour wax down the sink.
- To
recycle jar for other household uses: Once the wax has been melted
and the jar has been emptied, quickly wipe with paper towel to
remove any soy wax residue. Wash jar with soap and water, rinse.
